Today when I came to school, after I come out of the car Mr. Desal immediately stops me and says “ Come here I want to talk to you” he asks me “ What does your dad do for a living?” “He’s a lawyer” I reply. He looks at Ms. Kennedy and exclaims “ What law does he practice” I look at his bald spot then focus back and say “ Labor” he glances at Ms. Kennedy and she says “ We’ll have to talk with him about that. Labor law is very interesting in this time of the economy.” Mr. Desal dismisses me and as I am walking to the building I see Raven’s mom’s car pull in and we talk for about 15 seconds. Raven and I walk in together and see Ish. We glance at each other and then decide to forgive his stupidity. We then walk into the class room; we see Lula and Ms. Ackerman crowded around the computer. We go to see what’s going on and we see Ms. Ackerman looking at the trailer for The Lost Boys. That is the best vampire movie in the
80s ever made. We explain to our teacher that even though she doesn’t like vampire movies that she’ll love this one especially that Corey Haim is in it (he is a really hot actor when he was younger but he died 2 weeks ago). Then she announced it was time to go to advisory, so we all went to our seats and started working on our family tree and identity project for the semester. Next, we went to humanities and I had to listen to Sage whine about his computer not being able to show his PowerPoint presentation. So once that was over we started working on our Rome project. Then, we worked on our Rome test study guide which I didn’t need because I know about Rome, that’s where most of my family is from. We had nutrition next and Raven saw that her boyfriend Jordan was hanging out with a 7th grade girl named Annabelle more than he does with his own girlfriend (Raven) so we went to study hall after Lula and I talked to Jordan about it. Ms. Liu gave us
a game to play, it more for second graders but we still took it seriously. Raven was really sad about what Jordan is doing. So I told her to cheer up and then we walked into the theater for our yoga lesson. We are really good at it when it comes to partner poses.
